Governance and Transactions was established in 2003 by James L. Gunderson to assist boards, management and owners with corporate governance, compliance, structuring and strategic transactions.

The firm believes that improving governance and legal compliance procedures for its multinational clients, and helping them to properly structure their international operations and to successfully plan and execute their acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures does more than increase shareholder value.  It enhances the economic and social benefits that those companies provide to their employees, customers and the communities in which they operate.
